For Beth Cranford
For making me laugh
and
for simply being you.
Love ya, woman!
“Oh God!”
Her sweet mouth opened slightly, a soft pant ghosted past her lips. Slow and steady, I pushed myself inside her. She was wet─oh so wet─and tight. It took all I had not to come the instant I penetrated her. My mind whirled with the scent of her silky hair and the taste of her smooth skin. I needed to feel her, touch her, claim her.
Under normal circumstances I would’ve froze in the presence of a woman like this, but not now. Not at Indulgence. Her gorgeous blue eyes hidden behind that silver mask and pretty pink lips were an aphrodisiac to me. Most men would’ve been turned on by her pert tits or tight ass, but not me. I wanted that mouth and those eyes, longing for me. Begging me to make her come to life.
“Marshall,” she pleaded.
I loved the breathiness of her voice behind my fake name. It’d been a great debate as to whether or not an alias should be used for Indulgence. In the end, I went with Marshall Hunter. The name emitted a level of masculinity I desired.
I leaned down and pressed my lips to hers. She tasted sweet, just like candy. “Shh, Trish.”
“I need…”
But before she could finish her statement, I gave her what she craved. My speed increased, my hard cock slid rough and fast into her depths. The sound of our skin crescendoed around us. Inside of her, I came alive. Sure, I realized what I was feeling wasn’t real. More than likely, Trish wasn’t even her real name. And I didn’t care. This was Indulgence, after all. This night was all about the fantasy. And in my fantasy, I imagined Trish and Marshall were connected beyond sex, that they were more than this carnal act. She had no idea who Brix Johnson was, and I loved that. Instead, I believed she saw my mind and my heart. Better yet, I pretended I could see hers, too.
With long strokes meant to bring us both to ecstasy, I lowered my lips to her ear and whispered, “Come for me, Trish.” I reached between our hot, sweaty bodies and pressed my fingers against her clit. She was so sensitive to my touch. Within seconds she was trembling. Her nails dug deep into my back, and her eyes rolled back into her head. Her pussy clenched around my cock and that was all she wrote.
Her muted cries mingled with my low grunts, as our climaxes overpowered our senses. This blonde beauty, even if only in my dream, was mine. When we both finally came down, I rolled off of her and removed my condom, tossing it away. In the distance, I noticed the door had opened and two new occupants entered. Through the veil of white shrouding the bed, bright red hair flamed before my eyes.
“That was amazing, Marshall,” Trish purred, reaching for my partner card while handing me hers. “Better than my boyfriend.”
I cringed at that thought. I’d figured out quickly that it wasn’t uncommon for people at Indulgence to be in relationships, but that didn’t mean I had to be comfortable with the concept. Not that I would brag to anyone, but this was my first Indulgence experience, and so far it had been a wild, intense ride.
Rather than focusing on my sudden discomfort with the woman kissing my shoulder, I scribbled my name on her card, and watched the gorgeous redhead walking with a clothed employee.
There was something about her gait, the manner of her walk, even the slight slope of her back that rang familiar to me.
I knew her. The shape of her face. That bright red hair.
It was the way she moved that tugged at my memory. Smooth. Confident.
Addison George!
No. It couldn’t be.
I squinted my eyes, narrowing in on the redhead. She was graceful and gorgeous.
There was no mistaking it was Addison. Her tight body, which I helped to sculpt each week at yoga, was indubitable.
The bed shifted as Trish slipped off the mattress. She kissed my cheek. “Find me later, if you want another go.”
I moved to the edge of the bed. “Yeah, thanks,” I mechanically replied. Only moments ago, I would’ve jumped at the chance of taking Trish for another ride, but now, all I could focus on was Addison. I’d crushed on her forever. Not that I was in love with her or anything. Hell, I didn’t know her well enough to be in love with her. I could barely talk to her. Every time she came near me I’d get all tongue tied and end up sounding like a buffoon. Lately, it’d gotten easier to simply walk away without saying a word to her, that way I didn’t feel any more like an idiot than I already felt.
It was for that very reason I’d decided to attend Indulgence. For one night I could be someone other than myself. Shy yoga instructor, Brix Johnson, with his mousy brown hair and green eyes, became the suave sex god, Marshall Hunter.
Without me realizing, Trish exited the confines of our little haven, leaving me lost in my fascination of Addison and the man she was with. They were caught up watching another couple in the throes of passion. The look on Addison’s companion's face concerned me. He was captivated by her. Not that I blamed him. I felt that exact same way every time I came in contact with her. She was magnetism defined.
He twirled a lock of her hair around his finger and I jumped to action. This man was about to break the rules. It was made perfectly clear in our initiation packet, as well as in the opening ceremony, that we were to not get involved with anyone clothed. They were employees; we were guests. Rules were rules! I couldn’t allow anything to happen between them. Addison could get in trouble, be kicked out. All because this guy had no self-control. And I wasn’t about to allow Addison to be taken advantage of by some jerk who needed to be fired for his insubordination.
I bounced off the edge o
f the bed and slipped out of the cubicle, making my way behind Addison. “Holy shit!” I called out.
Instantly, I hated myself for allowing those to be the first words to come out of my mouth. How inarticulate could I be? And my blatant use of vulgarity made me cringe. “Small minds use dirty words,” my Nanna used to say, and here I was shouting out a curse to gain a beautiful woman’s attention. How pathetic.
The man’s head perked up at the sound of my voice, but Addison seemed disoriented. I regrouped and called out her name. That caught her attention, confirming my assumption that Addison George was really at Indulgence.
This was an interesting development. Addison was a classy lady. The last person I’d expected to find at Indulgence. Though seeing her, made me curious as to how many times she’d attended.
Addison turned to face me, pressing her back to the man’s chest. Her red hair draped over her perfect tits, bringing the fact that Addison George was as naked as I was back to my attention. I forced my eyes to stay connected to hers. Had it been any other woman at Indulgence, I wouldn’t have thought twice about giving her the once over. Hell, my best friend in the whole world, Autumn Beaty, was rattling around somewhere in the house, and I was less uncomfortable with seeing her naked than I was with Addison at this very moment.
The clothed man folded his fingers around Addison’s shoulders. He was on the defensive, which made my blood boil. He knew the rules, obviously, since he worked there, yet he was willing to leave his employer liable. Not smart, buddy!
I scrutinized him as Addison and I chatted. There was a familiarity about his mannerisms. This man was dressed like an employee, but he seemed different. He had an air of superiority about him. Almost as if he owned the place. In his dreams. Everyone knew Sebastian Hawk didn’t really wander around the mansion like the rumors suggested. After his grand theatrics in the great hall, the man marched upstairs without another word to anyone. More than likely, he was on the top floor sipping his gin and reading a book. As the world famous author, he could have any woman or man he wanted. This party was nothing more than a publicity stunt and there was no way a man like Sebastian Hawk would mingle with the commoners who were screwing around on his dime.
When Addison introduced me to Luke, the man beside her, I rubbed my jaw and tried to think of something, anything to talk about. I had to rescue her from this guy. He was trouble with a capital T.
“This might be a little forward, but I was wondering if you might want to be with me tonight.”
What? Did that actually come out of my mouth? What was I thinking? Soliciting her for sex?
Her eyes widened with shock and my blood rushed to my head.
How much of an idiot could I be?
Jacoby, Addison’s ex-boyfriend, told me Addison was into me. I didn’t believe him, of course, and with good cause. Women like Addison don’t like guys like me. They want the cool, confident guy. Like the creep standing in front of me, ready to reach down my throat for suggesting Addison join me. And her reaction pretty much proved my beliefs.
“Hold up!” she exclaimed. “I thought you were gay!”
God! This was high school all over again. No. It was worse than high school. Here I was, my cock standing at attention, because no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t help but glance down at her breasts, yet she’s calling me out as gay. Not that I have anything against gay men. Jacoby Cross is one of my best friends and he came out as gay a year or so back, but the last time I checked, I was about as straight as a man could get.
“What? Who told you that?” I groused.
“No one. I just assumed by the way you flirt with Jacoby…”
I flung my hands in the air. “I don’t flirt with Jacoby. All I ever do is talk about you.”
Her mouth dropped. “Me?”
“I’ve had a crush on you for the longest time. Jacoby was trying to help me muster up the courage to ask you out,” I rambled. Once the words were out and my brain caught up with my mouth, I could’ve vomited right then and there. I had just told Addison I had a crush on her. What was I thinking? The urge to tuck dick and run was overwhelming. Not to mention the look on Luke’s face. It was safe to say I was now on his most hated list.
And then the unthinkable happened. Luke told her to go with me. Me! He was finally bucking up and following the rules. Yet I couldn’t help but notice the infliction in him as he verbally pushed her away. Pain, sheer pain welled in Luke’s eyes. He didn’t want to let her go, but the rules. He was going to abide by the rules, even if it killed him.
I scratched my jaw as the scene unfolded in front of me. Instead of focusing on Addison, I couldn’t help but watch the agony in Luke’s expression. It was strange to be on this end of rejection. Luke pushed his hat back a little, rubbing his forehead. A puff of blonde hair burst forth, but he was quick to hide it.
I lifted an eyebrow and scratched the itch that had been irritating my brain since I first saw Luke. This wasn’t right. Luke wasn’t right.
His identity struck me like a bolt of lightning. From the way he tucked his hand in his pocket, to his eyes, even down to the blonde hair poking out from under his hat. Luke was Sebastian Hawk. The Sebastian Hawk. World renowned author and the Grand Master of Indulgence. The rumors were true. He did make appearances amongst the guests. No one would believe how he did it, either.
Before I knew what was happening, Addison and I were in the exact same bed I had just left with Trish, yet I couldn’t push aside my newfound knowledge. It barely registered in my mind that since I had vacated it, the bed had been remade with what I could only assume were fresh sheets. Sebastian’s staff was wicked fast.
When Addison kissed me, my internal axis shifted. I floated for a moment, allowing myself to believe that she really wanted to be with me. Her body, so soft yet firm, was mine to behold. All of my best jerkoff dreams stared Addison George and now I was going to finally feel the reality of the woman. My lips moved along her collarbone, lavishing her skin with tender kisses. I wanted her to forget about anyone but me, but I knew I was fighting a lost cause. Her body was with me, but her mind was with him.
And then she confirmed it. “Sebastian,” she murmured as my mouth drifted down her stomach.
The story of my life.
Shifting back, I crossed my arms over my chest.
Her eyes darted up to mine, filled with confusion. “Brix?”
My mouth went dry. She was so disoriented. Nothing felt right with her. Sebastian Hawk had performed some weird He-Man mojo on her head. “It’s him? That guy?”
“What do you mean?” She feigned innocence, but I knew. She could only be satisfied by one man and that man wasn’t me.
“You just said his name, Addison. You called me Luke.” Okay, so I lied a little. She did introduce him as Luke. Who was I to refute it?
Addison gasped and covered her mouth. “Oh, my God. Did I really? I’m so sorry. I didn’t…”
I placed a finger to her lips. “I saw how he was with you. When I walked up, he was just about to kiss you. I’ll admit, I interrupted you on purpose.” With a bit of a huff, I sat down beside her and placed my hands in my lap. “I was jealous. Once again I was going to lose my chance with you, and I’d been too shy to even take one in the first place.”
“Brix.” Oh that tone. I’d heard it a thousand times before. A girl likes me but doesn’t like me. Friend zone, here I come.
I stopped her. “You want to know why I applied for Indulgence? For the same reason I teach yoga. I’ve never been very good with women. I was what you’d call a nerdy boy growing up.”
“Well, you’re not a nerd now.”
If she only knew. I glanced in her direction, telling her with my eyes that she was wrong. Oh, so wrong. That nerdy kid was ever present in my life. He always would be.
“You hide it well, then,” she cooed, though she were reading my mind.
My cheeks began to burn and I tried to shrug away the feeling. “I don’t think so. I become all tongue-tied arou
nd women. The only woman I was ever good with was my grandmother, and when she died, I was left alone with nothing but her fortune to supplement me.” Okay, so I felt the need to omit a little about my life. Addison didn’t want my sob story, and really, the only other two women in my life were Autumn and my mom, who was more of a sister than a mom to me, but they didn’t count. Just like Nanna, they were family. “I thought bulking up would help boost my confidence, but it didn’t. Guys like Jacoby don’t know how lucky they are. They can talk to girls without sounding like an idiot.”
Addison’s laughter chimed. “You realize he’s gay, right?”
I leaned back, resting my palms on the bed. “Yeah, but before he came out of the closet, he had you. That says something for him.”
Warmth flooded my skin as Addison pressed her palm on top of my hand. “You don’t give yourself enough credit, Brix. I find you incredibly sexy.”
She might as well have shoved a knife in my chest, because I knew it wasn’t true.
Enough was enough.
It was time to let her go be with the man she longed for.
I pulled her to me and hugged her tight, allowing her scent to wash over me. “Go get him, Add.”
Her body tightened in my arms. “It’s too late. I don’t even know where he is.”
I pulled back, holding her by the shoulders, peering into those beautiful green eyes. “Yes you do. Just think about it. You’ll find him.”
Addison threw her arms around my neck, knocking the wind out of me. “Thank you for understanding. I mean it when I say you’re an amazing guy.”
“You’re welcome, beautiful. Now go.” I cupped her face in my hand and pressed a kiss to her lips. I might’ve been letting go of the one good fantasy I had, but it wasn’t my place to stand in her way. She owed me nothing. If I had been man enough to ask her out, I might’ve been on a real date with her instead of a pretend one. With Addison, I’d much rather have reality.
Once Addison was gone, I collected myself and meandered out of the romantic den. As I passed through the curtains, a small woman with dark hair bumped into me. For only a moment our eyes met, but she was in such a hurry I barely got out an “Excuse me,” before she was gone.
